| Core Tip |
Primary squamous cell carcinoma of the rectum is a rare malignancy, and the discrete dual lesions of rectum are even rarer. Our patient is still alive after surgery as the primary treatment followed by concomitant radiotherapy. It was suggested that surgery combined with radiotherapy may be an effective treatment strategy for patients with rectal squamous cell carcinoma, especially for elderly patients who cannot tolerate chemotherapy. |
