Core Tip |
Oxycodone is a semi-synthetic opioid extracted from a plant derivative of tiabaine and gradually applied in clinical practice. It is an opioid μ and κ receptor agonist, a class of potent opioid analgesics. It mainly acts on smooth muscle by agonizing κ receptors to relieve visceral neuralgia; on the other hand, it can act on the central nervous system by agonizing μ receptors to produce analgesic effects. |
