Core Tip |
The application of minimally invasive surgery in carcinoma in the remnant stomach (CRS) is affected by factors such as abdominal adhesion, anatomical displacement and unclear markers caused by previous partial gastrectomy. Most previous studies were case series or small-sample studies. This study explored the therapeutic efficacy of three-dimensional (3D) laparoscopic-assisted gastrectomy (3DLAG) vs open gastrectomy for CRS. 3DLAG has shown obvious short-term advantages and equivalent long-term oncological efficacy in the treatment of CRS without increasing the incidence of complications. This study provides evidence-based medical support for the treatment of CRS by 3DLAG. |
