Core Tip |
The present study was a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial designed to compare the clinical efficacy of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy combined with heating-damp-clearing and pain-reducing paste (DPP) to that of heating-DPP alone for lower back myofascial pain syndromes. The main finding was that PEMF therapy combined with heating-DPP had better efficacy than heating-DPP alone in reducing the intensity of pain. |
