Core Tip |
It is necessary for clinicians to be aware of a rare but possible acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) complication caused by multiple wasp stings. To date, there is no evidence of the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) treatment for ARDS or respiratory failure caused by wasp stings. For the first time, we report a case of severe ARDS caused by multiple wasp stings, successfully treated with ECMO. |
