The hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA values measured by the Abbott or Da-an real-time polymerase chain reaction assay were significantly correlated with the expected values of HBV DNA standards. A Bland-Altman plot showed good agreement between the assays. For clinical evaluation, HBV DNA levels derived from the Abbott assay were significantly higher than those of the Da-an assay. |
