Core Tip |
In this research, we reported the expression and biofunctions of synaptophysin-like 2 (SYPL2) in colorectal cancer (CRC) for the first time. SYPL2 correlated with lymph node metastasis and a poor prognosis (both overall and disease-free survival) in CRC. SYPL2 mainly influence CD8 T-cell and M0 macrophage enrichment in the tumor microenvironment. Gene set enrichment analysis indicated that SYPL2 might also influence the tumor vasculature development. In addition, we found that SYPL2 was correlated with the effect of bevacizumab therapy. |
