Core Tip |
Short bowel syndrome with intestinal failure and chronic dependency on parenteral support are rare but severe complications of Crohn’s disease (CD) after repeated intestinal resections. New therapeutic options are available, including glucagon-like peptide-2 analogues. Their use in CD appears safe and efficacious, but more data from specifically designed studies are needed. |
