Core Tip |
In our study, we systematically described the infiltration changes of various immune cells during the process of acute liver injury and repair. We found that the recovery time of immune cells was far behind that of serum alanine transaminase and aspartate transaminase during the process of liver repair. Moreover, we found that leukocyte cell-derived chemotaxin 2 (LECT2) was upregulated in acute liver injury mouse models and the changes in LECT2 were related to the changes in several immune cells. LECT2 could regulate monocyte/macrophage chemotaxis and might be used as a therapeutic target for acute liver injury. |
