The purpose of this case study was to report the new application of the Ilizarov technique, which successfully treated talipes equinovarus in adults after triceps surae intramuscular hemangioma. The Ilizarov technique may be a surgical method for treating postoperative deformity of limbs, even in adult patients. Physicians should be aware of new uses for this type of treatment. |
