Core Tip Diabetes mellitus, a chronic endocrinopathy characterized by disrupted glucose, lipid, and amino acid metabolism, is rising and has reached pandemic proportions. A vast body of evidence demonstrates that microRNAs (miRNAs) play a key role in diabetic physiopathology. Here, we explore numerous regulatory miRNAs involved in diabetes and discuss their potential diagnostic and therapeutic applications in this paper.
