Colon cancer; Achyrocline satureioides; Pomolic acid; Pomolic acid-28-O-β-D-glucopyranose |
Core Tip |
Compounds pomolic acid (PA) and pomolic acid-28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester (PAO) exhibited a considerable growth inhibitory effect against HT-29 cell lines in a time-dose-dependent manner. PA and PAO promote apoptosis through autophagy in HT-29 colon tumor cells. Both PA and PAO provide novel therapeutic strategy for colorectal cancers treatment. |
