It has been noted that irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) sufferers' autonomic activity differs from that of healthy people. Colored doppler ultrasonography (CDUS) can be utilized as a noninvasive diagnostic tool that can be performed at any age and at any age, is comfortable for the patient, and does not require further patient compliance to show autonomic dysfunction in patients with irritable bowel syndrome. |
