| Core Tip |
This study explores the potential benefits of combining cytoreductive surgery with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy in treating gallbladder cancer (GC). Our results show that this combined approach may increase the median overall survival and three-year survival rates, and may decrease the incidence of postoperative complications. While the results are promising, this represents a step forward in GC treatment and suggests a possible new therapeutic strategy that warrants further investigation. |
