| Core Tip |
Liver simple cysts are a common disease; however, neonatal congenital ones are very rare and are usually followed without complications. Our patient presented with a giant simple liver cyst that caused serious complications. Unfortunately, for some of these patients surgical treatment is not curative, and deaths as a result of ongoing bile leakage are reported. Our patient, who underwent the appropriate surgical procedure, did not experience bile leakage and experienced definitive recovery. |
