Core Tip Refeeding syndrome is a well described but often forgotten disorder. It has been recognized since the early 1940s, as severe serum fluid and electrolyte derangements after refeeding in malnourished patients. These potentially may cause impairing function of neuromuscular, cardiovascular, and respiratory system.
