Core Tip |
Serum copeptin has been related to the severity of circulatory dysfunction and systemic stress response in patients with chronic liver disease (CLD). However, little is known about the relationship between serum copeptin and the prognosis of patients with CLD. In this systematic review and meta-analysis, evidence from ten datasets including 3133 patients were integrated. The results showed that a high level of serum copeptin was associated with a poor transplant-free survival in these patients. These findings support the use of serum copeptin as a prognostic biomarker for patients with CLD. |
