Core Tip |
Pancreatic arteriovenous malformation (P-AVM) is a rare condition characterized by symptoms like gastrointestinal bleeding and abdominal pain, with some cases being asymptomatic. Surgical intervention is commonly considered for symptomatic cases, but the treatment of asymptomatic P-AVMs is not well-established. Previous studies have reported various methods, including surgery and transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE). In selective cases, particularly for asymptomatic or high surgical risk patients, TAE may be an effective and safe treatment option. |
