Core Tip |
Precision medicine holds significant promise in managing inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by aiming to customize treatments based on the unique biological characteristics of patients. Despite advancements in biological and small-molecule therapies offering new therapeutic options for IBD; however, the is a large gap in understanding the clinical course of IBD, the durability of treatment response, and enhancing available and new therapeutic options. Integrating multiomics into patient care can help in early diagnosis, predict disease course, deliver targeted treatments based on unique patient profiles, and evaluate prognosis. |
