Core Tip |
Peptic ulcer (PU), as a chronic disease, may cause complications such as perforation, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, and rarely gastric outlet obstruction. Risk factors such as advanced age, a history of PU, Helicobacter pylori infection, and the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs further increase the risk of developing the disease. To further reduce the associated negative effects of the disease, this study aims to explore and seek new therapeutic models to improve the management of the disease. |
