| Core Tip |
Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) with multidisciplinary collaboration improves nursing outcomes in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Compared to conventional nursing, ERAS leads to shorter hospital stays, lower costs, reduced blood loss, higher hemoglobin levels, decreased pain as per visual analog scale scores, improved knee joint range of motion, and higher Hospital for Special Surgery knee scores. There is no significant difference in postoperative complications. Multidisciplinary collaboration with ERAS enhances TKA patient outcomes by reducing blood loss, shortening hospital stays, and improving knee function. |
