Patients suffering from femoral neck and intertrochanteric fractures are frequently treated with an orthopedic rehabilitation surgery called hip arthroplasty (HA). Comorbidities challenge perioperative nursing care, specifically in older individuals, who comprise most HA patients. Postoperative rehabilitation may offer an avenue to enhance patients' quality of life with HA.
