Core Tip |
Gastric ectopic pancreas (GEP) is a rare disease. At present, the study on GEP is mostly limited to case reports. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) is the main examination method for the diagnosis of GEP. We summarized the characteristics of GEP under EUS and compared the advantages and disadvantages of laparoscopic resection and endoscopic submucosal dissection in the treatment of GEP. Both methods are safe and feasible. Due to the low incidence of this disease, we look forward to multicenter studies with large sample sizes. |
