Core Tip |
Today, the clinical management of Crohn's disease (CD) involves both non-pharmacological and pharmacological therapies with the primary objective of inducing and maintaining remission. In this context, anti-inflammatory drugs, including corticosteroids, immunomodulators, and biological agents, can be employed either as monotherapy or in combination. Surgical treatment, while considered palliative, is not curative. Therefore, this review aims to provide an overview of current evidence regarding interventions for CD. |
