This study investigated the application value of different timing of abdominal puncture catheter drainage in patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) complicated by abdominal effusion. The aim of this analysis to provide clinicians with more precise guidance to optimize treatment strategies and improve the quality of life of SAP patients. The results showed that percutaneous catheter drainage was most effective in the treatment of SAP complicated with abdominal effusion when applied within 2 days of disease onset. |
