Core Tip |
This study describes an uncommon nerve sheath tumor occurrence in the sigmoid colon, which was initially identified as a submucosal lesion and subsequently verified through histopathological and immunohistochemical analyses. The findings suggest that immunohistochemistry is the preferred diagnostic approach for this condition, and endoscopic surgery stands out as the optimal treatment modality. |
