Core Tip We present a case of Borrmann type Ⅱ gastric cancer undiagnosed by three repeat endoscopic biopsies with multiple specimens due to necrosis and superficial regenerative epithelium. When endoscopic and ultrasonography findings highly suggest malignancy, operation or surgical biopsy should be considered.
