| Core Tip |
This study identified the optimal independent predictors of treatment response in previously treated patients with hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B who received peginterferon alpha therapy. Using single-factor and multi-factor logistic regression analyses, scoring prediction models and response-guided therapy strategies were established. These tools offer guidance for physicians to adjust treatment plans for patients who have not achieved HBeAg seroconversion after long-term nucleos(t)ide analog therapy, carrying significant practical implications for alleviating social and medical burdens. |
