Core Tip |
This study identified several important risk factors for preterm birth (PTB), including a greater maternal weight change, the presence of gestational diabetes mellitus, a shorter cervical length in the second trimester, a greater white blood cell count, and postpartum anxiety and depression. Based on these factors, a PTB risk prediction model was constructed by our research team, which demonstrated excellent prediction efficiency. In addition, in view of the high prevalence of negative emotions such as anxiety and depression in mothers with PTB, timely psychological intervention is necessary. These findings are helpful for promoting early intervention, reducing the adverse consequences of PTB and providing a new perspective for the management of pregnant women. |
