| Core Tip |
Recent studies have shown that androgen receptor (AR) could play an important role in carcinogenesis and cancer development in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and pancreatic cancer. HCC is a male-dominant cancer. Although pancreatic cancer is not male-dominant, because liver and pancreatic progenitors develop commonly from endoderm cells in the embryonic foregut, AR might play an important role in these cancers. |
