Core Tip My review focuses on targeted therapies on the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling pathway in metastatic colorectal cancer, mainly includes: (1) Treatment targeting rat sarcoma (RAS) status, including RAS wild type, maintenance therapy of (EGFR monoclonal antibody, re-challenge of anti-EGFR therapy, treatment of NoeRAS and Kirsten RAS viral oncogene G12C mutations; (2) treatment of patients with B-type RAF mutations; and (3) treatment of human EGFR 2 amplification or overexpression.
