This study was the first pooling up analysis to evaluate the safety of enhanced recovery after surgery in elderly patients with gastric cancer. In conclusion, compared to those with conventional recovery, elderly gastric cancer (GC) patients who received the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocol after surgery had a lower risk of mortality. The ERAS protocol was determined to be safe in elderly patients with GC. |
