Core Tip In our study, the median survival of patients with sarcopenia was 2 months, while it was 10 months for those without sarcopenia and it was a statistically significant difference. Sarcopenia has an impact on the survival rates of individuals with solid tumors. If we can quickly identify sarcopenic patients through Hounsfield units measurement at the time of diagnosis, contribute to survival by furnishing these patients with the requisite nutritional assistance before treatment.
