| Core Tip |
Our study examined that insulin-like growth factor 2 (IGF2) regulated metastasis and imatinib resistance in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST). IGF2 interacted with IGF1R to regulate the glycolysis. Our results certified that IGF2 targeting IGF1R signaling improved metastasis and imatinib chemosensitivity via driving glycolysis in GIST and revealed that IGF2 might be used for reversing the GIST patients’ imatinib resistance. |
