Core Tip |
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is a significant risk factor for colorectal adenomatous polyp (CAP) or colorectal cancer (CRC), and it may contribute to the development of CRC via an inflammatory response, gastrin stimulation, intestinal flora modulation, and virulence factor invasion. In contrast, the diagnosis of CAP may independently predict the probability of H. pylori infection after colon polyp removal. |
