Core Tip |
Pregnant gingival tumors are more common in clinical practice, usually smaller than 1 cm, but gestational gingival tumors with a size of nearly 4 cm are relatively rare. There have been reports of using semiconductor lasers to treat gestational gingival tumors in clinical practice, but the tumors are relatively small and have less bleeding. In this case, Nd:YAG water mist laser was used to remove large tumors. The intraoperative bleeding was minimal, the field of vision was clear, and there was water mist cooling without carbonization. The postoperative effect was ideal. |
