| Core Tip |
The tumor markers carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 are often used in the auxiliary diagnosis and postoperative monitoring of colorectal patients, but their role in prognosis needs to be further explored. Here, we retrospectively analyzed the clinical data and pathological characteristics of 3526 patients with nonmetastatic colorectal cancer (CRC), confirmed the negative correlation between preoperative serum tumor marker levels and prognosis, and established a nomogram model to evaluate the prognosis of CRC patients. |
