Core Tip |
This is a retrospective study to evaluate the inter- and intra-observer reliability of the skull base angles (SBA) Koenigsberg et al’s standard and modified (mSBA) measurement techniques. There was an excellent agreement between reviewers regarding both angle measurements (intraclass correlation coefficient was 0.998 for SBA and mSBA). Higher SBA and mSBA values were observed for females than males. There was no correlation between skull base angles and age for SBA. SBA and mSBA measurements showed high agreement for inter- and intra-observer differences. The study found that SBA angles were reliable measuring methodologies for application on magnetic resonance images. |
