Core Tip |
In this double-center retrospective study, we explore the clinical characteristics and risk factors associated with autoimmune gastritis (AIG) and gastric polyps in 530 patients diagnosed with AIG from July 2019 to July 2023. The study found that higher age, elevated gastrin-17 levels, and higher positivity rates of parietal cell antibody antibodies were significantly associated with the presence of gastric polyps in AIG patients. Through univariate and multivariate analyses, parietal cell antibody positivity, elevated pepsinogen II levels, and enterochromaffin like cells hyperplasia were identified as significant risk factors. |
