Key Words |
Bevacizumab; Colorectal cancer; Programmed cell death ligand 1 expression; First-line chemotherapy; Metastatic colorectal cancer |
Core Tip |
Efficacy of first line chemotherapy (FOLFOX or FOLFIRI) plus bevacizumab in metastatic colorectal cancer was not significantly different according to the status of tumor tissue programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) CPS status. Further research regarding dual inhibition of the vascular endothelial growth factor and PD-L1/programmed death 1 axes in various tumor types including colorectal cancer is required. |
