| Core Tip |
Patients with Neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) are exposed to a higher risk of developing neuroendocrine tumors. Periampullary neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) in NF1 patients primarily affect the duodenum and periampullary region. This article reports a case of periampullary duodenal NET in a patient with NF1. A bibliometric analysis was conducted on periampullary NENs to determine the state of the research. |
