Core Tip |
Rectus sheath hematoma (RSH) is an uncommon disease in clinical practice, often affecting older and postpartum women. Since the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, the prevalence of RSH has increased due to patients with severe cough symptoms and the use of anticoagulants for thrombotic complications. Therefore, we report a case of a RSH in a patient with COVID-19. A systematic analysis of the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment of this disease can enhance clinicians’ understanding of it. |
