| Core Tip |
Gastric cancer is a common malignancy worldwide, with the peritoneum, liver, and lungs being frequent sites of distant metastasis. However, metastasis to the breast is extremely rare. Breast metastases from gastric cancer are easily overlooked given the low incidence, and the pathogenesis and treatment principles have been infrequently studied. We present a case of breast metastasis from gastric cancer and analyze similar published cases indexed on PubMed to explore the potential epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment. This provides an initial research foundation for this rare manifestation of gastric cancer spread. |
