| Core Tip |
The albumin-bilirubin (ALBI) scoring system is an objective and convenient method for evaluating liver function, and its prognostic value in a variety of cancers has gradually increased. In this study, patients who underwent radical surgery for colorectal cancer (CRC) were enrolled and divided into a high-ALBI score group (ALBI score > -2.8) and a low-ALBI score group (ALBI score ≤ -2.8) according to the cutoff calculated with X-tile software, and the results showed that the ALBI score is an independent risk factor for overall survival and disease-free survival in CRC patients who undergo radical resection. |
