This study on 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with abdominal obesity confirmed that T2DM remission and intrapancreatic fat deposition were negatively correlated, as well as the benefits of liraglutide in glycemic control and pancreatic function repair in T2DM. Our findings are of great significance for advancing research on diabetes mellitus and fat and building appropriate treatment models for patients with T2DM. However, there are limitations such as insufficient sample size and lack of basic experiments. |
