Core Tip |
Rapid rehabilitation care has been applied to optimize intraoperative management. This retrospective study focused on the effect of rapid rehabilitation care on clinical outcomes following colorectal cancer surgery. Twelve studies, including 2420 patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery, were assessed by this study. The findings indicated that rapid rehabilitation care significantly decreased the occurrence of overall postoperative complications, anastomotic leaks, wound infections, and intestinal obstruction compared with conventional care in patients who underwent colorectal cancer surgery. |
