Severe skeletal class II malocclusion in adults can be effectively corrected using a method involving distal movement of the maxillary dentition using microimplant nail anchors, push springs, long-arm traction hooks, and elastic traction chains. After 52 months of treatment with this approach, the patient’s overbite and overjet were normal, and her facial profile improved. |
