Agatsuma and colleagues published a retrospective study on the early-stage detection rate of colorectal cancer (CRC) among three different groups based on diagnostic routes. We shared our opinion about this study and further discussed current status of CRC screening program in different countries and regions. We think a more specific, targeted population is necessary for the better implement CRC screening.
