Core Tip |
Diabetes mellitus (DM) is an important risk factor for nosocomial urinary tract infections and surgical site infections, which may indirectly affect the occurrence of nosocomial bloodstream infections, especially in DM patients with poor glycemic control. Diabetic patients should therefore pay more attention to the prevention of healthcare-associated infections, with a focus on the management of their blood glucose level. |
