| Core Tip |
The role of methyltransferase-like 5 (METTL5) in the progression of gastric cancer (GC) is comprehensively analyzed in this study, highlighting its potential as a new therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker. However, further research is needed to fully understand the functional mechanism of METTL5 in GC and translate these insights into clinical applications. Targeting METTL5-mediated sphingomyelin metabolism is a novel therapeutic approach in GC. |
